Coinbase announced a revised fee structure for many active users of Coinbase Advanced on September 16. The company says the update consolidates eligible Spot and Derivatives tiers and changes VIP qualification.
The announcement does not mean that every Coinbase transaction is fee-free. Simple buys, Advanced orders, derivatives and network withdrawals use different pricing mechanics, and the final preview should be reviewed before confirmation.
