Privacy

How RateMosaic handles visitor information.

This page describes the current public directory and the data principles intended for community rating features.

Current public directory

RateMosaic can be browsed without creating a public profile. The directory itself is built primarily from static pages containing service information and links to external sources.

External websites

Profile pages link to official company websites and policy resources. Those external services have their own privacy practices and may receive normal browser request information when you choose to visit them.

Brand icons

Where available, RateMosaic may request a site icon directly from the profiled company’s public domain. A text fallback is used when the icon cannot be loaded.

Community rating features

When public voting is enabled, RateMosaic is designed to use a limited anonymous identifier and technical anti-abuse signals to enforce one active rating per visitor and profile. The public rating display is intended to show aggregate scores and counts rather than a public identity.

Data minimization

The rating system is intended to collect only what is reasonably needed to store a vote, update it and reduce obvious abuse. Technical implementation details may be updated as the feature is completed.
