Browsing the directory
You can browse public RateMosaic pages without creating an account. As with most websites, our hosting and security infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser type, device information, requested page and technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site.
Community ratings
When you rate a service, RateMosaic processes the selected star value, a browser-generated identifier and limited network and browser signals used to reduce duplicate or automated voting. Those identifiers are stored as one-way hashes for the relevant profile. Public pages show the aggregate score and rating count, not your identifier or network information.
Correction submissions
The correction form collects the profile name, your email address, the information you believe is wrong, your proposed correction and a supporting source link. RateMosaic also creates a hashed anti-abuse signal and a reference number for the submission. This information is used to assess the report, prevent form abuse and maintain a record of the correction request.
Browser storage
RateMosaic uses local browser storage to keep a random client identifier and remember the rating submitted from that browser. Clearing local storage removes the local copy, although it does not remove an existing rating from the site's aggregate records.
Service providers
RateMosaic uses Cloudflare infrastructure to host pages, operate the rating and correction features, and help protect the site from abuse. Information may be processed where that infrastructure operates. We do not sell personal information submitted through RateMosaic.
External websites
Profiles and articles link to official company websites and other sources. When you follow an external link, the destination site receives ordinary browser request information and applies its own privacy policy. RateMosaic does not control how an external site handles data.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate the relevant feature, review correction history, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may browse without submitting a rating or correction. For questions about information you submitted, or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable, email contact@ratemosaic.com. We may need enough information to locate and verify the request.
Children
RateMosaic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from them.
