Holland America moves Oosterdam’s Evolution refurbishment five weeks earlier

Holland America says the Oosterdam refurbishment will now begin earlier, allowing the transformed ship to return to service on October 31, 2027 and adding five voyages.

Holland America announced on September 9 that the Oosterdam Evolution transformation would move forward by five weeks because of guest demand. The revised schedule adds five post-refurbishment voyages across the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean.

The company also says several previously published voyages from September 11 to December 9, 2027 are being cancelled and that affected guests and travel advisors are being contacted. Existing bookings should be checked against the latest itinerary notice.
