Live Nation was incorporated in 2005 as Clear Channel prepared to separate its entertainment operations, and it became an independent publicly traded company in December of that year. In January 2010 Live Nation merged with Ticketmaster and changed the corporate name to Live Nation Entertainment, Inc.; Ticketmaster remains a distinct consumer brand within that larger organization.
For consumers, LiveNation.com is primarily a place to discover concerts, comedy and other live events, follow artists and venues, access presales and explore VIP or premium experiences. Ticket fulfillment and order servicing can involve Ticketmaster or another ticketing route depending on the event, so the exact seller and order instructions shown at purchase matter more than the Live Nation logo alone.
Live Nation Entertainment also operates as a concert promoter and venue operator and has businesses across ticketing, sponsorship and artist-related services.
The current Live Nation help center directs customers to an online request form rather than publishing one universal consumer phone number. The brand maintains official social accounts under the LiveNation name on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube, while corporate information is published through Live Nation Entertainment’s newsroom and investor relations sites.
