Boost Mobile has gone through several major ownership and network changes. DISH acquired the U.S. Boost Mobile business in 2020 as part of the remedies surrounding the T-Mobile/Sprint transaction, giving DISH a consumer wireless base while it built a new nationwide wireless network.
DISH and EchoStar combined at the end of 2023, bringing Boost under EchoStar. In 2024 the company consolidated the separate Boost Mobile prepaid brand and Boost Infinite postpaid offer under one Boost Mobile identity. As a result, current Boost marketing can cover both prepaid and postpaid plans rather than the older prepaid-only positioning.
Coverage can involve Boost’s own network and partner networks, depending on device, location and plan. Plan pricing, high-speed data, hotspot allowances, international features and device promotions can change, so the current plan and coverage pages are more reliable than older summaries of Boost’s network arrangement.
Customer Care is separated by need. Media enquiries use news@boostmobile.com rather than consumer support.
