Reading Eggs launched in 2008 and was developed by the Australian education team behind Blake eLearning. In 2021 Blake eLearning merged with 3P Learning, giving 3P Learning control of the Reading Eggs and Mathseeds intellectual property.
The broader subscription suite includes Reading Eggs Junior for pre-reading skills, Reading Eggs for early literacy, Fast Phonics for phonics practice and Reading Eggspress for older readers. Mathseeds provides a related early-numeracy program. Age ranges and included products vary by market and subscription.
Support is split between parent and school users, with regional phone numbers and email addresses. Subscription management, cancellations and refunds can also depend on whether the purchase was made directly through Reading Eggs or through an app store.
