About Winc

Winc currently operates as an online wine club and retail brand built around recurring memberships, recommendation tools and curated packs. Its storefront in September 2026 presents two main membership options: a six-bottle shipment every month or a twelve-bottle shipment every twelve weeks. Both are marketed with member pricing, free shipping, early access to new wines and the ability to skip shipments, while selected packs can be bought without joining. The site also uses a short palate-profile questionnaire and ratings from prior orders to recommend wines.

Those current storefront terms are more useful than old summaries of Winc’s former credit-based or smaller-box membership models because the commercial structure has changed over time. The corporate structure has changed as well. The original Winc business went through a sale of its direct-to-consumer assets in 2023, and the brand is now part of Full Glass Wine Co.; public trademark records list Full Glass-Winc, LLC as the owner of the Winc mark. That means a current profile should not present the original Winc, Inc. public-company structure as though it were unchanged today.

Alcohol regulation creates another important distinction. Winc’s current Terms describe the site as a marketer and service provider that enables purchases from licensed retailers, with the licensed seller and fulfillment structure varying according to the transaction and shipping state. Customers must be at least 21 years old, and an adult signature or identification check can be required on delivery. Products cannot be shipped everywhere, and state law, carrier rules and product availability can prevent checkout for a particular destination. The live storefront and the legal Terms are not perfectly synchronized in every detail: the membership pages currently promote six- and twelve-bottle options, while parts of the Terms still contain older language describing a minimum three-bottle monthly shipment.

A customer should rely on the membership selected at checkout, the order confirmation and the current Subscription Policy for the binding schedule and price shown to that account. Cancellation is clearly documented: Winc says members may cancel through live chat on winc.com, by emailing support@winc.com or by calling 1-855-282-5829 during the published support hours; California residents are also given an online Account Settings cancellation route. Refund and return rules are separate, and some credits or gift-card purchases have restrictions, so stopping future membership shipments should not be confused with obtaining a refund for a completed order.

Because wine availability, vintages and shipping eligibility change frequently, product pages should also be treated as time-sensitive. For customers, the practical checks are age and destination eligibility, the precise membership cadence, the wines and vintage in the order, taxes and any shipping charge shown at checkout, and a saved cancellation confirmation if the membership is ended. Alcohol fulfillment adds transaction rules that ordinary subscription boxes do not have. Winc’s current terms require customers to be at least 21 and allow fulfillment through licensed retailers, with adult verification or signature requirements applying where required. Recurring memberships authorize future charges until cancellation, so customers should save the cancellation confirmation and make changes before the applicable shipment cutoff. Shipping eligibility also varies by state and can change with alcohol regulations.
