About Xfinity Mobile

Comcast introduced Xfinity Mobile in April 2017 and completed its nationwide rollout across Comcast markets later that year. The service combines cellular connectivity with Xfinity Wi-Fi and is sold as part of the company’s consumer communications portfolio rather than as a standalone national carrier with its own radio network.

Customers can bring eligible devices or purchase phones and other supported hardware through Xfinity. Available plans, device promotions, premium-data allowances, international features and eligibility rules change over time, so current plan pages and the checkout flow are more reliable than fixed price or allowance figures in a general company profile.

Account management is integrated with the wider Xfinity account system. Customers can use the Xfinity app and online account for billing, plan details, device management and troubleshooting, while Xfinity Assistant provides automated and agent-assisted help. Some account and promotional eligibility depends on a customer’s other Xfinity services.

Xfinity publishes a dedicated Mobile support number that also accepts text messages, along with online chat and official Xfinity Mobile accounts on Facebook and X.
